Creating feasts for the eyes.
Chanterelle
The Chanterelle cookbook follows the story of the celebrated New York restaurant of the same name. With more than 150 recipes, it has the sophisticated feel of a fine art book, while capturing the warm personality of the Chanterelle family. From chef David Waltuck’s love of French cuisine to his love affair with his wife, the book’s story is a personal one told with classical typography and accompanied by the beautiful, rich photography of Maria Robledo.
Cooking from the Garden
Inspired by the delight of cooking with just-picked fruits and vegetables, this book follows the “locavore” movement with a compilation of recipes from Kitchen Gardener magazine. Our client wanted a fresh, modern look on a low budget. Since there were no photographs available, we art directed the talented illustrator, Chris Silas Neal, to create a whimsical and rich experience with just two colors. The result is an engaging testament to the joy of seasonal ingredients.
