Director of Arts, Illusion and Crazy Creativity Rafael Rosa can take a pin-dot and make it a work of art He has made a name for himself in a matter of minutes and he is only hours old. Presented from Brazil to the United States as a diplomatic gift for the artistic and cultural exchange program, in 1991 Rafa began creating his legacy. In order to understand art through the human psyche, Rafa studied psychology before pursuing his artistic passions in photography and design. While seeking his degree he won several awards at the New York One Show, was profiled in HOW Magazine, CMYK, American Graphic Design Magazine and Creativity Annual He received his degree which included 38 school awards and 2 top dog awards in Graphic Design from the Miami Ad SchoolAfter sitting pretty in the pick-choose-refuse seat, Rafael placed all his job offers in a brown paper bag which he designed of course and shook them up. After that careful consideration, he joined Pinkhaus Design in Miami where his first project, The Bacardi Mojito Campaign, was featured in New York’s Time Square as well as the cities of Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami and garnered 5 professional awards His passion for print led him to create the print visuals for Martini & Rossi Asti and the Miami Film Festival He went on to plan, develop and launch the Pinkhaus Interactive Department contributing to projects such as pinkhaus, bacardimojito and steinerleisureRafa has launched a number of media and print work campaigns to include Ocean Drive Magazine. He also worked on the Bacardi Rum Flavors where he designed the packaging for the bottles for all the flavors like Vanilla, Coco, Limon, O and Razz. In January 2003, Rafa started his company, Mucca, which showcases his talents in entertainment, fashion as well as the arts & community In 2004 Mucca deployed it's interactive department and Mini Mucca was formed. The agency, headed by Eloise E. Rodriguez, was selected from approximately half a dozen other public relations and marketing firms vying for the account. Some of you may recall that Eloise, a Kendall resident, used to work for the Community Newspapers.Under the auspices of Bristol Public Relations, the “dream team” also includes Circle of One Marketing led by Suzan McDowell and Mucca Design, led by Rafa Rosa. The team aims to create a fresh multi-cultural, multi-layered branding campaign that will get the word out about the Miami Beach Cultural Affairs Program, promote the performing and visual arts groups with a presence on Miami Beach, as well as the diverse events and projects presented by groups receiving support from the grants program of the Cultural Arts Council.Congratulations, Eloise, and best of luck with your new endeavor.
