Chicor

Beauty junkies celebrate Korea’s first multi-brand cosmetics store

Chicor is a luxury cosmetics chain launched by the venerable Korean department store Shinsegae. Similar in concept to Sephora, it’s a multi-level beauty playground that speaks to the young, stylish and curious. From video walls to packaging to environmental graphics, the sleek, modern brand system combines sophistication with a sense of fun.

In an age when bricks and mortar shops are struggling to compete with online sellers, Chicor has expanded to 26 locations across Korea in only three years. With a roster of more than 250 local and global brands and a private label that’s exceeded sales targets by more than six times, they’ve become a retail cosmetics leader in a competitive marketplace obsessed with beauty.
